Some people say that you when you're taking pics, you should think of the name you'll give to them. If you can't think of any name, then it's because the pic is not good. Well, i had no concept behind this one; just wanted to depict a stormy sea, on a foggy, cloudy day, and some rocks.

In Ericeira, Portugal.

4 minutes exposure, Canon 30D, Sigma 17-70

i think that if you can show in the photograph what the naked eye
cant see with such beauty, you are a good photographer.

and also, certain photographs dont need titles, if the photograph speaks for itself or has a clear message. but thats mainly in street and portraits i think.

titles for work such as yours is just like the icing on the cake :)

Thanks Denis; this was a very foggy day, i was hoping i could get a continuous tone from sea to sky, but the clouds started to rise. However, the low light did allow very long exposures... ;)

i also disagree with the people who say you need to have a title... its not necessary at all... this image is a perfect example of allowing the work to speak for itself! i absolutely love that there isn't some *awe-inspiring* message attached, but just the beauty of composition!
