Well, not the top of the world, but the top of continental Portugal. I was hiking in Serra da Estrela, this last weekend. The sunset arrives quite early, and i had the chance to watch this beautiful sunset. I used a graduated ND filter to catch it and still get some detail on the snow nearby...
Absolutely stunning quality in that image. I've been away so long I didn't realize you got the 30D. Congratulations! I'm thinking of upgrading to that as well... good choice I assume?
As for your photograph, thanks to the grad ND, you've achieved an almost unreal mix between earth and sky, in an almost unreal setting, so it appears to be very majestic and amazing. great work! I would say one thing though, consider dodging the rocks on the right hand side just a tiny bit to lighten them up. Otherwise, stunning work.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
