Artist's Comments

This long exposures always make me think that photography isn't just the moment; we can capture a motion, a movement, time passing by. This is from the series shot in Samarra, a small beach near Magoito, Sintra, Portugal. Again, i return to colour; even though i'm in a b&w phase, i can still see when colours are beautiful. So here it is.

Canon 30D, Sigma 17-70, polarizer, grad ND, tripod, GIMP.

Had to crop this one a bit, since the filter holder is causing some vignetting... :(

Thank you! I consider this works as exercises, as i've been trying to perfect some aspects of the technique. I hope, in the near future, to start creating a more personal style. Still not sure of the path to follow...
